Russian folk dance — Russian folk dance art, presented in the form of a national Amateur or staged stage dance. For men's dance characterized by boldness, breadth of soul, humor, women's dance is smooth, the Majesty, light flirting. Russian dances are an integral part of Russian culture.

I am impressed by the costumes and the dancers. They are very bright, colorful and varied. By the way I deal with is folk dancing now. Now the dance became very popular among young people. Dance is a way of expression. Young people organize their groups, gather at dance camps and even participate in dance projects.There are such In Russia. This is the second year continues the dance project "Dancing" on the channel TNT. There are going to be dancers from all over Russia. They undergo a rigorous selection and at the end of this selection remain 24 participants.Then they become participants of the project.
Participants are divided into two teams - the Team of Miguel and a Team of Yegor Druzhinin.

 Each week the participants show what they can do. They show very steep dances, different in style and mood. Unfortunately every week the project leaves one dancer from each team. At the end of the project remain 4 finalists. The audience vote for the best dancer. I'm still undecided in choosing my favorite dancer, but I really want to win the strongest. I love this project and get great pleasure from watching it.

 And I love leading this project - Laysan Utiasheva. She's so sweet and kind. She always cares about the project participants and supports them as a Mom.

Today I want to talk about Russian ballet

Russian ballet refers to ballet dancing that originated in Russia. Russian ballet is one of the most popular forms of classical ballet.

The first school of Russian ballet, the Imperial Theatre School, was founded by Empress Anna in 1738.

The first Russian ballet company, the Imperial School of Ballet, was developed in St. Petersburg in the 1740s. The Ballet Russian, directed by Sergei Diaghilev, played a major role in the establishment of Russian ballet.

Founded in 1909, Ballet Russian was one of the great ballet companies of the 20th century.

Today, audiences around the world have the opportunity to enjoy professional Russian ballet dancing close to home. The Bolshoi Ballet and the Mariinsky Ballet are renowned Russian ballet companies that tour the world.

I want to tell not only of Russian ballet but also about the legendary ballerina. Maya Plisetskaya is the standard of Russian ballet.

Plisetskaya studied ballet from age nine and first performed at the Bolshoi Theatre when she was eleven. She joined the Bolshoi Ballet company when she was eighteen, quickly rising to become their leading soloist. In 1958 Plisetskaya received the title of the People's Artist of the USSR. She created a number of leading roles, created compositions, played many parties.

In my opinion this is an amazing woman. I am amazed by the plasticity of the body, technique. She will always remain a legend!

Today I want to talk about contemporary styles of dance. Do you know about Hip-hop, Krump, House, Twerk, Vogue? I danced hip -hop in my childhood.  It is a very quick and lively dance. It originated among blacks in America. It is considered a street dance style, because learning is already known movements and the creation of new was originally on the street.
